This fair celebrates expressions of paper as a medium and explores the intricacies of form, structure, and its poetic essence. I am joined by selections from Tim Hawkinson, Marc Nagtzaam and herman de vries.
Iva Gueorguieva delves into the interplay of the tangible and the fantastical in her latest series, ‘Chimera 1 - 24’. Through this collection of 24 works, she explores realms and characters, where reality merges with the intangible and where form dwells in the liminal. The series echoes the composite essence of the Greek mythological chimera, a hybrid fire-breathing being. Gueorguieva’s drawing practice is essential and central to her painting and this group of drawings has informed many of her recent paintings Seascapes/Snowscapes/Kukeri.
